Love…

Bill and I had the pleasure of photographing an engagement session in the cold cold cold downtown yesterday, but Abigail and Jake kept each other warm… these are our favorite sessions… a couple in love. It’s just so sweet to take it all in…true love, new beginnings.

Enjoy the show and leave a comment for Abi and Jake.. their wedding is this Saturday, and we can’t wait to photograph the special day!!!!

Thank you…

I heard this song sung by Olivia Newton John this week… live and in person at the Ryman. Yes, I attended her concert at the urging of my dear friends Gipsy Williams and her sister Denice, and I am so glad I did. We sang along to songs from Grease and stepped back in time to our childhood where singing along to Olivia Newton John with a hairbrush and an audience made up of mostly stuffed animals and a poster or two, was a common affair… I learned much about this pop icon and how much she has done with her life to help those less fortunate and how grateful she is for all that she has in her life. This song resinated with me and brought tears to my eyes. I felt this song was the perfect soundtrack to this slideshow of this brave Marine who has found the love of his life. So with heartfelt Gratitude…

Gratitude

The word of the day… Gratitude

The winter wedding season brought to us some very special weddings and over the next few weeks we will be highlighting some of our favorite moments from some very special military weddings. We have had the opportunity to serve those who have served our country… and with gratitude we would like to share some images from Dane and Kristin’s Wedding on December 21 2008 at the beautiful Scarritt Bennett Whightman Chapel and the reception at the magnificent Union Station Hotel! It was such a blast and an honor to be chosen to capture such a wonderful wedding in Nashville Tn!

Please comment to share your words of gratitude for our Military couple! I know they would love to hear from you! Thanks for looking and we will be highlighting more of our military couples in the coming days!

We love our job!!!!

  • Mary Koss said: Wow!! A lot of these shots look like they are right out of a magazine! My little brother (ex-Army Ranger) married his beautiful bride last summer and had Divine Images capture their special day. They ordered stunning portraits and an amazing wedding album exclusively designed by Lesli at Divine Images. Lesli not only photographed the family and friends at the event, she also captured the emotion and energy; the warmth, happiness, and love literally eminates from these photographs and is absolutely remarkable! I ordered varied sizes of portraits, as well, from 5X7's to a poster-sized portrait she took of my family at the reception. These pictures are absolutely AMAZING and she made each of us look like a movie star!! These...divine images... actually make all of the other pictures in our house PALE in comparison! (I wish we lived in Nashville so my daughter could have her senior portraits done by Lesli!) Divine Images...the name truly says it all! Lt. Col and Mrs. John Koss (03.03.09 @ 1:37 pm)

More Puppy Love!

As wedding photographers, we photograph a lot of beautiful brides, handsome grooms and a whole lotta love…We very seldom have a time to take photos for ourselves. Well, tonight, our sweet puppy Petey posed for us! He is 5 months old, he weighs about 10 lbs and he can leap tall buildings in a single bound. He’s a Miniature Australian Shepherd. We wonder just how big he will be?!? We love every little ounce of him!

Can we call this… Puppy Love?

Reminds me of a School Photograph! He’s all ready for 1st grade in his cable knit sweater!

Looking for that cat that teases him as he strolls by on our porch…Is my door really That Dirty!???!??? Must be an optical illusion.. wink..wink

O.K…. now back to editing Storybooks for our wonderful wedding clients!

Hot new Wedding Venue for Weddings and Receptions in Nashville!!

We just love how Nashville is growing. Finding cool new places that couples can get married and have receptions is always a pleasure! Here is the hottest new ticket in town….  The Ambrose House and East End United Methodist Church..what a great combination. The beautiful stained glass windows of the sanctuary and the cool vibe of the Ambrose House just down the street makes this an awesome combination of venues to host a wedding and reception!!!

We had the honor this week of being asked to photograph these locations for Events Nashville, and what wonderful people they are. We are very excited to share the photos and we hope you enjoy them. Our incredible models, Courtney and Merritt rock..don’t ya think?
